Are you the artistic type? If so you may like the rooms in your home to also represent your artistic side. One great way to do this is with a glass coffee table in the living room. Think about what goes together better than art and coffee? Many a coffee house is filled with artistic designs and creations. As a matter of fact many coffee houses create their whole environment around this connection. Additionally, many artists spend their time at coffee houses coming up with inspiration. If these two things are connected in the regular world, why shouldn‘t these two things be connected in your home? Now they can.
No matter what style you prefer, there are coffee tables designed to compliment it. Glass and chrome are often used in contemporary settings, while woods are usually considered more traditional. Country style tables can include wicker touches or painted finishes, while urban loft styles could be made from industrial piping or colorful, contemporary plastics. Modern coffee tables are available that will suit any decor.
Coffee Tables and End Tables: Placement: The end table should be placed right up beside the arm of the chair. Not directly in contact, because any subsequent movement of then chair could easily shake the table and spill the contents of any container. Coffee tables should be placed 18" from the sofa, enough room to enable you to walk between the two items of furniture, but not so far as to place your cup out of each.
